Its official.

Lord Bear of Smarden has been adopted!!
Over the last 12 months his human slaves have been working wonders with Bear.
Most will remember over a year ago he came to us from a huge rescue effort with multiple other rescues involved with 18 dogs in total.
Bears transformation as you can see has been amazing.
We would like to thank his fosterer's (now adoptive humans) Mark and Angela for finally falling off the fence 😁🤣. 💜

Here at Sibes and Sled Dogs we have an absolutely huge announcement to make.

Last week Zeus who has been with us for three years left us to go to his new home.

It has been very emotional and one of the most monumental events to take place in all my time in rescue. Craig Griffiths from Reach Rescue made this happen and we as a rescue can't thank you enough.

Craig connected us with the lovely Sandra Springett who takes on many dogs with issues and integrates them into her pack. Sandra you are such an inspirational lady and we will always be in your debt.

You have given Zeus the life he craved, the life he so so deserved. On behalf of SASD Thank you so much to Craig, Sandra and Les, you made this happen and we sre still on a high from it!


Also a big thank you to all the kennel staff who have looked after Zeus over the past three years.

What a week for Adoptions....  5 more wonderful doggo's off to their furever homes.

The stunning Miska has found her forever home with Rodger in Settle.

 

 

 

 

The Bath Bomber that is Maui has taken up residence with Steve Heald in sunny Blackpool. We are sure he will be a shining light on the promenade!

The very cool Ice hasn't gone far but is now happily chilling out with Adam in Nelson.

 

 

You may have already seen in the Tales From The Kennels Page, the gorgeous Ember has lit a fire in the hearts of Emma & Andy from Cheadle (Staffs).

No excuse to not make it to Hales Hall Camps!

Finally, Django (meaning "I Awake") has gone to stay forever with Nikieta in Great Harwood. He will certainly awake with love every day!

Ice, who recently had to return to rescue has found a new home with Humans Anthony & Lorna.

She hasn't gone far though..   Just down the road to Padiham so no doubt we will see Ice & new sister Laika at the Off Lead quite often.
